First update on the accident with the Lamy 2000 Steel

Tal como mostrei na publicação de ontem, tive um pequeno acidente com a minha Lamy 2000 Steel recém adquirida.

As I showed on yesterday's post I had a little accident with my recently acquired Lamy 2000 Steel.

Decidi (alguns dos meus seguidores também me aconselharam a seguir essa via) contactar os serviços da Lamy, através do seu site.

I decided (some of my followers also gave me advice to follow that path) to contact Lamy services through their website.

Devo dizer que foram muito rápidos a enviar a informação aos representantes locais - Lamy Portugal - que me pediram para lhes enviar a caneta para ser avaliada (sem custos) para me darem um orçamento para a reparação. Só depois decidirei se estou disposto a pagar a reparação ou se colocarei a caneta de parte, optando por não a reparar.

I must say they were very fast to send the information to the local representatives - Lamy Portugal - who asked me to send them the pen for assessment (free of charge) and they will send me an estimate of the repair costs. Then I will be able to decide if I am willing to pay for it or if I just put the pen aside and forget about it.

Até agora estou muito satisfeito com o suporte ao cliente. Aqui em Portugal não vemos frequentemente este interesse nos clientes nem respostas tão rápidas.

So far I am very happy with the customer services. Here in Portugal we don't see very often this interest in customers and such a fast reply.
