Entre as colecções da Montegrappa produzidas em edição limitada existe uma nova colecção chamada Mightier Than the Sword (Mais Poderosa do que a Espada), homenageando indivíduos de grande impacto cultural e influência. Como o próprio nome indica, glorificando a caneta e a palavra escrita, o candidato é uma pessoa especial que enriqueceu e melhorou a vida através do seu contributo para a humanidade nas áreas da filosofia, política, artes, entre outras.

Among the limited edition series produced by Montegrappa is a brand-new Collection named Mightier Than the Sword, honouring individuals of great cultural impact and influence. As the name implies, by glorifying the pen and the written word, the candidate is a special person who has enriched and enhanced life by contributing to mankind through philosophy, politics, the arts and other fields.

Merecedor de destaque nesta colecção estarão escritores, políticos, heróis nacionais e outras figuras notáveis. É, assim, apropriado que as canetas The Hemingway formem a primeira família desta nova série. Ernest Hemingway foi um dos escritores mais inovadores e influentes, repórter e romancista do século XX e que , curiosamente, escreveu com canetas da Montegrappa.

Prominent among the subjects of the Mightier Than the Sword Collection will be writers, politicians, national heroes and other notables. It is therefore appropriate that The Hemingway Pens form the first family in this new series. Ernest Hemingway was one of the most innovative and influential writers, reporter and novelists of the 20th century, one who wrote, coincidentally, with Montegrappa pens.

A colecção Hemingway está dividida em quatro capítulos: "The Soldier" (O Soldado), "The Writer" (O Escritor), "The Fisherman" (O Pescador) e "The Traveller" (O Viajante). Cada um destes capítulos da sua vida materializa-se numa caneta, disponível em três tipos, incluindo caneta de tinta permanente, esferográfica e rollerball.

The Hemingway Collection is divided into four “chapters”: “The Soldier”, “The Writer”, “The Fisherman” and “The Traveller”. Each of these chapters of his life is embodied in a pen, offered in the three types, including fountain pen, roller and ballpoint.

Cada modelo dos quatro temas esta limitado a uma edição de 100 exemplares, totalizando 300 canetas para cada tema. Todas as canetas desta série são produzidas em celulóide com acabamentos em prata ou inteiramente em prata. Adicionalmente à edição em prata, 10 exemplares de cada um destes três tipos de escrita, para cada um dos quatro capítulos têm acabamentos em ouro de 18 quilates.

Each model in the four topics is a limited edition of 100 examples, totalling 300 pens for each subject. All pens in the series will be produced in celluloid with sterling silver trim or entirely in sterling silver. In addition to the silver editions, 10 examples of each of the three pen types, in each of the four chapters, are trimmed with 18k gold.

Evocando o seu espírito de viagem a The Traveller em prata e celulóide Charcoal Black está adornada com aviões, mapas e passaportes. No topo da tampa apresenta-se uma bússola; o clip e o corpo repetem um motivo e avião. Um farol está representado na extremidade do corpo e uma roda do leme de um navio está posicionada no centro.

Evoking the spirit of the voyage, The Traveller in Sterling Silver and Charcoal Black celluloid, is adorned with airplanes, maps and passports. A compass resides on the cap top, a repeating airplane motif dresses the clip and barrel, a sea light tower features on the barrel end and a boat steering wheel is positioned centrally.
